I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “our righteousness”.

Deu 6:25 And it shall be our righteousness,
if we observe to do all these commandments
the LORD our God,
as he hath commanded us.

Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing,
and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags;
and we all do fade as a leaf;
and our iniquities,
like the wind, have taken us away.

Jer 23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved,
and Israel shall dwell safely:
and this is his name whereby he shall be called,
THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Jer 33:16 In those days shall Judah be saved,
and Jerusalem shall dwell safely:
and this is the name wherewith she shall be called,
The LORD our righteousness.

Jer 51:10 The LORD hath brought forth our righteousness:
come, and let us declare in Zion
the work of the LORD our God.

Dan 9:18 O my God, incline thine ear,
and hear; open thine eyes,
and behold our desolations,
and the city which is called by thy name:
for we do not present our supplications before thee
for our righteousnesses,
but for thy great mercies.
