I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “borrow”.

Exodus 3:22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour,
and of her that sojourneth in her house,
jewels of silver,
and jewels of gold,
and raiment:
and ye shall put them upon your sons,
and upon your daughters;
and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

Exodus 11:2 Speak now in the ears of the people,
and let every man borrow of his neighbour,
and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver,
and jewels of gold.

Exodus 12:35 And the children of Israel did
according to the word of Moses;
and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver,
and jewels of gold,
and raiment:

Exodus 22:14 And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour,
and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it,
he shall surely make it good.

Deuteronomy 15:6 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee,
as he promised thee:
and thou shalt lend unto many nations,
but thou shalt not borrow;
and thou shalt reign over many nations,
but they shall not reign over thee.

Deuteronomy 28:12 The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure,
the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season,
and to bless all the work of thine hand:
and thou shalt lend unto many nations,
and thou shalt not borrow.

2 Kings 4:3 Then he said, Go,
borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours,
even empty vessels;
borrow not a few.

2 Kings 6:5 But as one was felling a beam,
the axe head fell into the water:
and he cried,
and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

Nehemiah 5:4 There were also that said,
We have borrowed money for the king’s tribute,
and that upon our lands and vineyards.

Psalms 37:21 The wicked borroweth,
and payeth not again:
but the righteous sheweth mercy,
and giveth.

Proverbs 22:7 The rich ruleth over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender.

Isaiah 24:2 And it shall be,
as with the people,
so with the priest;
as with the servant,
so with his master;
as with the maid,
so with her mistress;
as with the buyer,
so with the seller;
as with the lender,
so with the borrower;
as with the taker of usury,
so with the giver of usury to him.

Matthew 5:42 Give to him that asketh thee,
and from him that would borrow of thee
turn not thou away.

About David Mathi Raj Samuel
I was engaged in the computer field since 1977, particularly in Documentation, Desktop Publishing & Training field since 1986. The design work provided me creative satisfaction and motivated me to look for more challenging activities. I was having a taste for Technical Writing. Presently, My SME (Subject-Matter Expert) is "The Holy Bible (KJV)" and publishing the "Subject" from the Holy Bible only. I am 69 years old now and in HIS mercy. 2022, I was admitted in the hospital due to nervous attack and bed-ridden. In the Hospital they did all the tests and gave up and said it can't be cured. Due to circumstances I was in a Home for Elders in Gurugram, India for 18 months with a 24X7 attendent. I prayed to God YeHoVaH to give me death or life to live to HIS glory. My prayers were heard, I was given life. I came out walking from the Home and witnessing the work of God every day. I am able to move alone now, Weakness and the pain in the body remains. From June 2024 onwards I returned to my routine and reading Holy Bible, Preparing daily Bible understanding , as I did earlier but with two fingers in Android and Notebook. Watering the plants, making kitchen compost, repotting the plants with fertilizer, manures, cow dung; bathing and dressing myself but buttoning is not possible. Pray for everyone that lives in my physical condition to be strengthened. YeHoVaH be pleased.
