I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “if ye love”.

Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you,
what reward have ye?
do not even the publicans the same?

Luk 6:32 For if ye love them which love you,
what thank have ye?
for sinners also love those that love them.

Joh 14:15 If ye love me,
keep my commandments.

Joh 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you,
I go away,
and come again unto you.
If ye loved me,
ye would rejoice,
because I said, I go unto the Father:
for my Father is greater than I.
