I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Foes”.

1Ch 21:12 Either three years’ famine;
or three months to be destroyed before thy foes,
while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee;
or else three days the sword of the LORD,
even the pestilence, in the land,
and the angel of the LORD destroying
throughout all the coasts of Israel.
Now therefore advise thyself
what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.

Est 9:16 But the other Jews
that were in the king’s provinces
gathered themselves together,
and stood for their lives,
and had rest from their enemies,
and slew of their foes seventy and five thousand,
but they laid not their hands on the prey,

Psa 27:2 When the wicked,
even mine enemies and my foes,
came upon me to eat up my flesh,
they stumbled and fell.

Psa 30:1 I will extol thee, O LORD;
for thou hast lifted me up,
and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

Psa 89:23 And I will beat down his foes before his face,
and plague them that hate him.

Mat 10:36 And a man’s foes shall be
they of his own household.

Act 2:35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
