I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “I tell you”.

Isa 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass,
and new things do I declare:
before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Mat 10:27 What I tell you in darkness,
that speak ye in light:
and what ye hear in the ear,
