I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “before me”.

Luk 19:27 But those mine enemies,
which would not that I should reign over them,
bring hither,
and slay them before me.

Joh 1:15 John bare witness of him,
and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake,
He that cometh after me is preferred before me:
for he was before me.

Joh 1:27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me,
whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.

Joh 1:30 This is he of whom I said,
After me cometh a man
which is preferred before me:
for he was before me.

Joh 5:7 The impotent man answered him,
Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled,
to put me into the pool:
but while I am coming,
another steppeth down before me.
