I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “add unto”.

Num 5:7 Then they shall confess their sin which they have done:
and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof,
and add unto it the fifth part thereof,
and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word
which I command you,
neither shall ye diminish ought from it,
that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God
which I command you.

2Sa 24:3 And Joab said unto the king,
Now the LORD thy God add unto the people,
how many soever they be,
an hundredfold,
and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it:
but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?

2Ki 20:6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years;
and I will deliver thee
and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria;
