Mar 8:11 And the Pharisees came forth,
and began to question with him,
seeking of him a sign from heaven,
tempting him.

Mar 8:12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit,
and saith, Why doth this generation
seek after a sign? verily I say unto you,
There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “every year”.

2Sa 14:26 And when he polled his head,
(for it was at every year‘s end that he polled it:
because the hair was heavy on him,
therefore he polled it: )
he weighed the hair of his head
at two hundred shekels after the king’s weight.

Est 9:26. Wherefore they called these days
Purim after the name of Pur.
Therefore for all the words of this letter,
and of that which they had seen concerning this matter,
and which had come unto them,

Est 9:27 The Jews ordained,
and took upon them,
and upon their seed,
and upon all such as
joined themselves unto them,
so as it should not fail,
that they would keep these two days
according to their writing,
and according to their appointed time every year;

28. And that these days should be remembered
and kept throughout every generation,
every family,
every province,
and every city;
and that these days of Purim
should not fail from among the Jews,
nor the memorial of them perish from their seed.

as the high priest entereth
into the holy place every year
with blood of others;

26. For then must he often have suffered
since the foundation of the world:
but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared
to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Heb 10:3 But in those sacrifices
there is a remembrance again
made of sins every year.
