I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “alive”.

Mat 27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember
that that deceiver said,
while he was yet alive,
After three days I will rise again.

Mar 16:11 And they, when they had heard
that he was alive,
and had been seen of her, believed not.

Luk 15:24 For this my son was dead,
and is alive again;
he was lost,
and is found. And they began to be merry.

Luk 15:32 It was meet that we should make merry,
and be glad:
for this thy brother was dead,
and is alive again;
and was lost,
and is found.

Luk 24:23 And when they found not his body,
they came, saying,
that they had also seen a vision of angels,
which said that he was alive.

Act 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive
after his passion by many infallible proofs,
being seen of them forty days,
and speaking of the things pertaining
to the kingdom of God:
