I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “worthy of death”.

Deu 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses,
or three witnesses,
shall he that is worthy of death be put to death;
but at the mouth of one witness
he shall not be put to death.

Deu 19:6 Lest the avenger of the blood pursue the slayer,
while his heart is hot,
and overtake him,
because the way is long,
and slay him;
whereas he was not worthy of death,
inasmuch as he hated him not in time past.

Deu 21:22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death,
and he be to be put to death,
and thou hang him on a tree:

Deu 22:26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing;
there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death:
for as when a man riseth against his neighbour,
and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

1Ki 2:26 And unto Abiathar the priest said the king,
Get thee to Anathoth,
unto thine own fields;
for thou art worthy of death:
