Only once ‘innocent blood’ ….. found in the New Testament (KJV)

……. We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee,
let us not perish for this man’s life,
and lay not upon us innocent blood:
for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee. – Jon 1:14

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “innocent blood”.

Deu 19:10 That innocent blood be not shed in thy land,
which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance,
and so blood be upon thee.

Deu 19:13 Thine eye shall not pity him,
but thou shalt put away
the guilt of innocent blood from Israel,
that it may go well with thee.

Deu 21:8 Be merciful, O LORD, unto thy people Israel,
whom thou hast redeemed,
and lay not innocent blood
unto thy people of Israel’s charge.
And the blood shall be forgiven them.

Deu 21:9 So shalt thou put away
the guilt of innocent blood from among you,
when thou shalt do that
which is right in the sight of the LORD.

1Sa 19:5 For he did put his life in his hand,
and slew the Philistine,
and the LORD wrought a great salvation for all Israel:
thou sawest it,
and didst rejoice:
wherefore then wilt thou sin against innocent blood,
to slay David without a cause?

1Ki 2:31 And the king said unto him,

Jer 7:6 If ye oppress not the stranger,
the fatherless,
and the widow,
and shed not innocent blood in this place,
neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

Execute ye judgment and righteousness,
and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor:

Joe 3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation,
and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness,
for the violence against the children of Judah,
because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

I was engaged in the computer field since 1977, particularly in Documentation, Desktop Publishing & Training field since 1986. The design work provided me creative satisfaction and motivated me to look for more challenging activities. I was having a taste for Technical Writing. Presently, My SME (Subject-Matter Expert) is "The Holy Bible (KJV)" and publishing the "Subject" from the Holy Bible only. I am 69 years old now and in HIS mercy. 2022, I was admitted in the hospital due to nervous attack and bed-ridden. In the Hospital they did all the tests and gave up and said it can't be cured. Due to circumstances I was in a Home for Elders in Gurugram, India for 18 months with a 24X7 attendent. I prayed to God YeHoVaH to give me death or life to live to HIS glory. My prayers were heard, I was given life. I came out walking from the Home and witnessing the work of God every day. I am able to move alone now, Weakness and the pain in the body remains. From June 2024 onwards I returned to my routine and reading Holy Bible, Preparing daily Bible understanding , as I did earlier but with two fingers in Android and Notebook. Watering the plants, making kitchen compost, repotting the plants with fertilizer, manures, cow dung; bathing and dressing myself but buttoning is not possible. Pray for everyone that lives in my physical condition to be strengthened. YeHoVaH be pleased.
