I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “division”.

Exodus 8:22  . And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen,
in which my people dwell,
that no swarms of flies shall be there;
to the end thou mayest know that
I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

Exodus 8:23  And I will put a division
between my people and thy people:
to morrow shall this sign be.

2 Chronicles 35:5  And stand in the holy place
according to the divisions of the families
of the fathers of your brethren the people,
and after the division of the families of the Levites.

6. So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves,
and prepare your brethren,
that they may do according to the word of the LORD
by the hand of Moses.

Luke 12:51  Suppose ye that I am
come to give peace on earth?
I tell you, Nay;
but rather division:

52. For from henceforth
there shall be five in one house divided,
three against two,
and two against three.
53. The father shall be divided against the son,
and the son against the father;
the mother against the daughter,
and the daughter against the mother;
the mother in law against her daughter in law,
and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

John 7:42. Hath not the scripture said,
That Christ cometh of the seed of David,
and out of the town of Bethlehem,
where David was?

John 7:43  So there was a division
among the people because of him.

John 9:16  Therefore said some of the Pharisees,
This man is not of God,
because he keepeth not the sabbath day.
Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles?
And there was a division among them.

John 10:18. No man taketh it from me,
but I lay it down of myself.
I have power to lay it down,
and I have power to take it again.
This commandment have I received of my Father.

John 10:19  There was a division therefore again
among the Jews for these sayings.
