I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Affliction”.
Affliction – from the Old Testament
Gen 16:11 And the angel of the LORD said unto her,
Behold, thou art with child,
and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael;
because the LORD hath heard thy affliction.
Gen 29:32 And Leah conceived, and bare a son,
and she called his name Reuben:
for she said, Surely the LORD hath looked upon my affliction;
now therefore my husband will love me.
Gen 31:42 Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham,
