‘evil spirit’ ….. mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul,
and he prophesied in the midst of the house:……..- 1Sa 18:10

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “evil spirit”.

Jdg 9:23 Then God sent an evil spirit
between Abimelech and the men of Shechem;
and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:

24. That the cruelty done to the threescore
and ten sons of Jerubbaal might come,
and their blood be laid upon Abimelech their brother,
which slew them;
and upon the men of Shechem,
which aided him in the killing of his brethren.

1Sa 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul,
and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

1Sa 16:15 And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now,
an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.

1Sa 16:16 Let our lord now command thy servants,
which are before thee,
to seek out a man,
who is a cunning player on an harp:
and it shall come to pass,
when the evil spirit from God is upon thee,
that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.

1Sa 16:23 And it came to pass,
when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul,
that David took an harp,
and played with his hand:
so Saul was refreshed, and was well,
and the evil spirit departed from him.

1Sa 18:10 And it came to pass on the morrow,
that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul,
and he prophesied in the midst of the house:
and David played with his hand,
as at other times:
and there was a javelin in Saul’s hand.

1Sa 19:9 And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul,
as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand:
and David played with his hand.

Act 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said,
Jesus I know,
and Paul I know;
but who are ye?

Act 19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them,
and overcame them,
and prevailed against them,
so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

I was engaged in the computer field since 1977, particularly in Documentation, Desktop Publishing & Training field since 1986. The design work provided me creative satisfaction and motivated me to look for more challenging activities. I was having a taste for Technical Writing. Presently, My SME (Subject-Matter Expert) is "The Holy Bible (KJV)" and publishing the "Subject" from the Holy Bible only. I am 69 years old now and in HIS mercy. 2022, I was admitted in the hospital due to nervous attack and bed-ridden. In the Hospital they did all the tests and gave up and said it can't be cured. Due to circumstances I was in a Home for Elders in Gurugram, India for 18 months with a 24X7 attendent. I prayed to God YeHoVaH to give me death or life to live to HIS glory. My prayers were heard, I was given life. I came out walking from the Home and witnessing the work of God every day. I am able to move alone now, Weakness and the pain in the body remains. From June 2024 onwards I returned to my routine and reading Holy Bible, Preparing daily Bible understanding , as I did earlier but with two fingers in Android and Notebook. Watering the plants, making kitchen compost, repotting the plants with fertilizer, manures, cow dung; bathing and dressing myself but buttoning is not possible. Pray for everyone that lives in my physical condition to be strengthened. YeHoVaH be pleased.
