I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “trusted”.

Deuteronomy 32:37 And he shall say,
Where are their gods,
their rock in whom they trusted,

Judges 11:20 But Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his coast:
but Sihon gathered all his people together,
and pitched in Jahaz,
and fought against Israel.

Judges 20:36 So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten:
for the men of Israel gave place to the Benjamites,
because they trusted unto the liers in wait
which they had set beside Gibeah.

2 Kings 18:5 He trusted in the LORD God of Israel;
so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah,
nor any that were before him.

Psalms 13:5 But I have trusted in thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
