I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “hire”.
Gen 30:16 And Jacob came out of the field in the evening,
and Leah went out to meet him,
and said, Thou must come in unto me;
for surely I have hired thee with my son’s mandrakes.
And he lay with her that night.
Gen 30:18 And Leah said, God hath given me my hire,
because I have given my maiden to my husband:
and she called his name Issachar.
Gen 30:32 I will pass through all thy flock to day,
removing from thence all the speckled and spotted cattle,
