‘Lord God of hosts’ ….. mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts,
cause thy face to shine;

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Lord God of hosts”.

2 Samuel 5:10 And David went on, and grew great,
and the Lord God of hosts was with him.

1 Kings 19:10 And he said, I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts:
for the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant,
thrown down thine altars,
and slain thy prophets with the sword;
and I, even I only, am left;
and they seek my life, to take it away.

I have been very jealous for the Lord God of hosts:

Jeremiah 2:19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee,
and thy backslidings shall reprove thee:
know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter,
that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God,
and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord God of hosts.

Jeremiah 5:14 Wherefore thus saith the Lord God of hosts,
Because ye speak this word, behold,
I will make my words in thy mouth fire,
and this people wood,
and it shall devour them.

Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them;
and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:
for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.
