I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “remembrance”.

Exodus 17:14 And the LORD said unto Moses,
Write this for a memorial in a book,
and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua:
for I will utterly put out
the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

Numbers 5:15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest,
and he shall bring her offering for her,
the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal;
he shall pour no oil upon it,
nor put frankincense thereon;
for it is an offering of jealousy,
an offering of memorial,
bringing iniquity to remembrance.

Deuteronomy 25:19 Therefore it shall be,
when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest
from all thine enemies round about,
in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee
for an inheritance to possess it,
that thou shalt blot out
the remembrance of Amalek
from under heaven;
thou shalt not forget it.

Deuteronomy 32:26 I said, I would scatter them into corners,
