I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “anointed”.
Gen 31:13 I am the God of Bethel,
where thou anointedst the pillar,
and where thou vowedst a vow unto me:
now arise, get thee out from this land,
and return unto the land of thy kindred.
Exo 29:2 And unleavened bread,
and cakes unleavened tempered with oil,
and wafers unleavened anointed with oil:
of wheaten flour shalt thou make them.
Exo 29:29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons’ after him,
to be anointed therein,
and to be consecrated in them.
Lev 2:4 And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven,
it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil,
or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
Lev 4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin
according to the sin of the people;
then let him bring for his sin,
which he hath sinned,
a young bullock without blemish

This was the dedication of the altar,

and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest,
which was anointed with the holy oil.
