I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “their God”.
Gen 17:8 And I will give unto thee,
and to thy seed after thee,
the land wherein thou art a stranger,
all the land of Canaan,
for an everlasting possession;
and I will be their God.
Exo 10:7 And Pharaoh’s servants said unto him,
How long shall this man be a snare unto us?
let the men go,
that they may serve the LORD their God:
knowest thou not yet that Egypt is destroyed?
Exo 23:24 Thou shalt not bow down to their gods,
nor serve them,
nor do after their works:
but thou shalt utterly overthrow them,
and quite break down their images.
Exo 23:32 Thou shalt make no covenant with them,
nor with their gods.
Exo 23:33 They shall not dwell in thy land,
lest they make thee sin against me:
