I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “I pray thee”.

Job 4:7 Remember, I pray thee,
who ever perished, being innocent?
or where were the righteous cut off?

Job 8:8 For enquire, I pray thee, of the former age,
and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

Job 22:22 Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth,
and lay up his words in thine heart.

Job 33:1 Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches,
and hearken to all my words.

Psa 119:76 Let, I pray thee,
thy merciful kindness be for my comfort,
according to thy word unto thy servant.

Isa 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you
as the words of a book that is sealed,
which men deliver to one that is learned,
saying, Read this, I pray thee:

when I was yet in my country?
Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish:
for I knew that thou art a gracious God,
and merciful, slow to anger,
and of great kindness,
and repentest thee of the evil.
