‘minister’ for COMFORT? WEALTH? STATUS? SOCIETY….. from the New Testament (KJV)

For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto,
but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “minister”.

Mat 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him,
and, behold,
angels came and ministered unto him.

Mat 8:15 And he touched her hand,
and the fever left her:
and she arose,
and ministered unto them.

Mat 20:26 But it shall not be so among you:
but whosoever will be great among you,
let him be your minister;

Mat 20:28 Even as the Son of man
came not to be ministered unto,
but to minister,
and to give his life a ransom for many.

Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord,
when saw we thee an hungred,
or athirst,
or a stranger,
or naked,
or sick,
or in prison,
and did not minister unto thee?

2Co 8:4 Praying us with much intreaty
that we would receive the gift,
and take upon us
the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

2Co 9:1 For as touching the ministering to the saints,
it is superfluous for me to write to you:

2Co 9:10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower
both minister bread for your food,
and multiply your seed sown,
and increase the fruits of your righteousness;

2Co 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing
if his ministers also
be transformed as the ministers of righteousness;
whose end shall be according to their works.

2Co 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ?
(I speak as a fool) I am more;
in labours more abundant,
in stripes above measure,

Gal 2:17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ,

which things the angels desire to look into.

1Pe 4:10 As every man hath received the gift,
even so minister the same one to another,
as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

1Pe 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God;
if any man minister,
let him do it as of the ability which God giveth:
that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ,
to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

2Pe 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly
into the everlasting kingdom
of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
