I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “cut off”.

Mar 14:47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword,
and smote a servant of the high priest,
and cut off his ear.

Luk 22:50 And one of them smote the servant of the high priest,
and cut off his right ear.

Joh 18:10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it,
and smote the high priest’s servant,
and cut off his right ear.
The servant’s name was Malchus.

Joh 18:26 One of the servants of the high priest,
being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, saith,
Did not I see thee in the garden with him?

Act 27:32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat,
and let her fall off.

Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off,
