unto an old garment,
for that which is put in to fill it up
taketh from the garment,
and the rent is made worse.

else the bottles break,
and the wine runneth out,
and the bottles perish:
but they put new wine into new bottles,
and both are preserved.

which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven
is like unto a man that is an householder,
which bringeth forth
out of his treasure things new and old.

Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament,
which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Mat 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth
of this fruit of the vine,
until that day when I drink it new with you

which he had hewn out in the rock:
and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre,
and departed.

insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying,
What thing is this? what new doctrine is this?
for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits,
and they do obey him.

Mar 2:21 No man also seweth a piece of new cloth
on an old garment:
else the new piece that filled it up
taketh away from the old,
and the rent is made worse.

else the new wine doth burst the bottles,
and the wine is spilled,
and the bottles will be marred:
but new wine must be put into new bottles.

Mar 14:24 And he said unto them,
This is my blood of the new testament,
which is shed for many.

Mar 14:25 Verily I say unto you,
I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine,
until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe;
In my name shall they cast out devils;
they shall speak with new tongues;

Luk 5:36 And he spake also a parable unto them;

if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent,
and the piece that was taken
out of the new agreeth not with the old.

Luk 5:37 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles;
else the new wine will burst the bottles,
and be spilled,
and the bottles shall perish.

that ye may be a new lump,
as ye are unleavened.

which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of him that created him:

which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “midst”.

Isa 4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion,
and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem
from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment,
and by the spirit of burning.

Isa 5:2 And he fenced it,
and gathered out the stones thereof,
and planted it with the choicest vine,
and built a tower in the midst of it,
and also made a winepress therein:
and he looked that it should bring forth grapes,
and it brought forth wild grapes.

Isa 5:8 Woe unto them that join house to house,
that lay field to field, till there be no place,
that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

Isa 5:25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people,
and he hath stretched forth his hand against them,
and hath smitten them:
and the hills did tremble,
and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets.
For all this his anger is not turned away,
but his hand is stretched out still.

Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone;
because I am a man of unclean lips,
and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips:
for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

Isa 6:12 And the LORD have removed men far away,
and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

and vex it,

even determined, in the midst of all the land.

Isa 12:6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion:

make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday;
hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.

Isa 19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold,
the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud,
and shall come into Egypt:
and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence,
and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

Isa 19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof;
and I will destroy the counsel thereof:
and they shall seek to the idols,
and to the charmers,
and to them that have familiar spirits,
and to the wizards.

Isa 19:14 The LORD hath mingled
a perverse spirit in the midst thereof:
and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof,
as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

Isa 19:19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD
in the midst of the land of Egypt,
and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

Isa 19:24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria,
even a blessing in the midst of the land:

there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree,
and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.

Isa 24:18 And it shall come to pass,
that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit;
and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit

and the foundations of the earth do shake.

as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim:
and he shall bring down their pride together
with the spoils of their hands.

the work of mine hands, in the midst of him,
they shall sanctify my name,
and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob,
and shall fear the God of Israel.

shall reach to the midst of the neck,
to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity:
and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people,
causing them to err.

Isa 41:18 I will open rivers in high places,
and fountains in the midst of the valleys:
I will make the wilderness a pool of water,
and the dry land springs of water.

touch no unclean thing;
go ye out of the midst of her;
be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

Isa 58:9 Then shalt thou call,
and the LORD shall answer;
thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am.
If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke,
the putting forth of the finger,
and speaking vanity;

eating swine’s flesh,
and the abomination,
and the mouse,
shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.

Jer 12:16 And it shall come to pass,
if they will diligently learn the ways of my people,
to swear by my name, The LORD liveth;
as they taught my people to swear by Baal;
then shall they be built in the midst of my people.

Jer 14:9 Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied,
as a mighty man that cannot save?
yet thou, O LORD, art in the midst of us,
and we are called by thy name; leave us not.

and at his end shall be a fool.

Jer 21:4 Thus saith the LORD God of Israel; Behold,

surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king,
whose oath he despised,
and whose covenant he brake,
even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.

Eze 20:8 But they rebelled against me,
and would not hearken unto me:

neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt:
then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them,
to accomplish my anger against them

is to me become dross:

Eze 22:19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD;
Because ye are all become dross, behold,
therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.

Eze 22:20 As they gather silver,
and brass,
and iron,
and lead,
and tin, into the midst of the furnace,
to blow the fire upon it, to melt it;
so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury,
and I will leave you there,
and melt you.

Eze 22:21 Yea, I will gather you,
and blow upon you in the fire of my wrath,

so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof;
and ye shall know that
I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.

like a roaring lion ravening the prey;

are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood,
and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.

in the depths of the waters thy merchandise
and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

Eze 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus,
Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Because thine heart is lifted up,
and thou hast said, I am a God,
I sit in the seat of God,
in the midst of the seas;
yet thou art a man, and not God,
though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

Eze 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit,
and thou shalt die the deaths of them
that are slain in the midst of the seas.

Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth;
and I have set thee so:
thou wast upon the holy mountain of God;
thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise
they have filled the midst of thee with violence,

as profane out of the mountain of God:
and I will destroy thee,
O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries
by the multitude of thine iniquities,

from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee,
and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth
in the sight of all them that behold thee.

and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales.

Eze 29:12 And I will make the land of Egypt desolate
in the midst of the countries that are desolate,

that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years:
and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations,
and will disperse them through the countries.

in the midst of the countries that are desolate,

Eze 31:14 To the end that none of all the trees by the waters
exalt themselves for their height,
neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs,
neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water:
for they are all delivered unto death,
to the nether parts of the earth,
in the midst of the children of men,
with them that go down to the pit.

Eze 31:17 They also went down into hell with him
unto them that be slain with the sword;
and they that were his arm,
that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

with all her multitude:

yet have they borne their shame
with them that go down to the pit:
he is put in the midst of them that be slain.

it shall be an everlasting covenant with them:
and I will place them,
and multiply them,
and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited,
and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations,
which have gotten cattle and goods,
that dwell in the midst of the land.

and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more:
and the heathen shall know
that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

Eze 41:7 And there was an enlarging,

the place of my throne,

neither they, nor their kings,
by their whoredom,
nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

and the carcases of their kings, far from me,

when they go in, shall go in;
and when they go forth, shall go forth.

from the east side unto the west side,
shall be the offering which ye shall offer of five
and twenty thousand reeds in breadth,
and in length as one of the other parts,
from the east side unto the west side:
and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

Eze 48:10 And for them, even for the priests,
shall be this holy oblation;
toward the north five and twenty thousand in length,
and toward the west ten thousand in breadth,
and toward the east ten thousand in breadth,
and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length:
and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.

Eze 48:15 And the five thousand,
that are left in the breadth over against
the five and twenty thousand,
shall be a profane place for the city,
for dwelling, and for suburbs:
and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

Eze 48:21 And the residue shall be for the prince,
on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation,
and of the possession of the city,
over against the five and twenty thousand
of the oblation toward the east border,
and westward over against the five and twenty thousand
toward the west border,
over against the portions for the prince:
and it shall be the holy oblation;
and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.

Eze 48:22 Moreover from the possession of the Levites,
and from the possession of the city,
being in the midst of that which is the prince’s,
between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin,
shall be for the prince.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “midst” from the afflicted ‘Job’ till the ‘Song of Solomon’.

when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?
21:22 Shall  any teach God knowledge?
seeing he judgeth those that are high.

Psa 22:14 I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint:

in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

Psa 46:2 Therefore will not we fear,
though the earth be removed,

who hath sorrow?
who hath contentions?
who hath babbling?
who hath wounds without cause?
who hath redness of eyes?
30 They that tarry long at the wine;
they that go to seek mixed wine.
31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red,
when it giveth his colour in the cup,
when it moveth itself aright.
32 At the last it biteth like a serpent,
and stingeth like an adder.
33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women,
and thine heart shall utter perverse things.

lieth down in the midst of the sea,

and the way of a man with a maid.
