I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “midst” from the afflicted ‘Job’ till the ‘Song of Solomon’.
Job 21:21 For what pleasure hath he in his house after him,
when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?
21:22 Shall any teach God knowledge?
seeing he judgeth those that are high.
Psa 22:14 I am poured out like water,
and all my bones are out of joint:
my heart is like wax;
it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
Psa 22:22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren:
in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
Psa 46:2 Therefore will not we fear,
though the earth be removed,
and though the mountains be carried
into the midst of the sea;
46:3 Though the waters thereof
roar and be troubled,
though the mountains shake
with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Psa 46:5 God is in the midst of her;
she shall not be moved:
God shall help her,
and that right early.
Psa 48:9 We have thought of thy lovingkindness,
O God, in the midst of thy temple.
Psa 55:10 Day and night
they go about it upon the walls thereof:
mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.
Psa 55:11 Wickedness is in the midst thereof:
deceit and guile depart not from her streets.
Psa 57:6 They have prepared a net for my steps;
my soul is bowed down:
they have digged a pit before me,
into the midst whereof
they are fallen themselves. Selah.
Psa 74:4 Thine enemies roar
in the midst of thy congregations;
they set up their ensigns for signs.
Psa 74:12 For God is my King of old,
working salvation in the midst of the earth.
Psa 78:28 And he let it fall
in the midst of their camp,
round about their habitations.
Psa 102:24 I said, O my God,
take me not away in the midst of my days:
thy years are throughout all generations.
Psa 110:2 The LORD shall send
the rod of thy strength out of Zion:
rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
Psa 116:19 In the courts of the LORD’S house,
in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem.
Praise ye the LORD.
Psa 135:9 Who sent tokens and wonders
into the midst of thee,
O Egypt, upon Pharaoh,
and upon all his servants.
Psa 136:14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 137:2 We hanged our harps upon
the willows in the midst thereof.
Psa 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble,
thou wilt revive me:
thou shalt stretch forth thine hand
against the wrath of mine enemies,
and thy right hand shall save me.
Pro 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes;
keep them in the midst of thine heart.
Pro 5:14 I was almost in all evil
in the midst of the congregation and assembly.
Pro 8:21 I lead in the way of righteousness,
in the midst of the paths of judgment:
Pro 14:33 Wisdom resteth in the heart of him
that hath understanding:
but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.
Pro 23:29 Who hath woe?
who hath sorrow?
who hath contentions?
who hath babbling?
who hath wounds without cause?
who hath redness of eyes?
30 They that tarry long at the wine;
they that go to seek mixed wine.
31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red,
when it giveth his colour in the cup,
when it moveth itself aright.
32 At the last it biteth like a serpent,
and stingeth like an adder.
33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women,
and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
Pro 23:34 Yea, thou shalt be as he that
lieth down in the midst of the sea,
or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
Pro 30:18 There be three things
which are too wonderful for me,
yea, four which I know not:
Pro 30:19 The way of an eagle in the air;
the way of a serpent upon a rock;
the way of a ship in the midst of the sea;
and the way of a man with a maid.
Son 3:10 He made the pillars thereof of silver,
the bottom thereof of gold,
the covering of it of purple,
the midst thereof being paved with love,
for the daughters of Jerusalem.
