‘persecution’ ….. mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus
shall suffer persecution. – 2Ti 3:12

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “persecution”.

Lam 5:5 Our necks are under persecution:
we labour,
and have no rest.

Mat 13:21 Yet hath he not root in himself,
but dureth for a while:
for when tribulation or persecution ariseth
because of the word,
by and by he is offended.

Mar 4:17 And have no root in themselves,
and so endure but for a time:
afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth
for the word’s sake,
immediately they are offended.

Mar 10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now
in this time, houses,
and brethren,
and sisters,
and mothers,
and children,
and lands, with persecutions;
and in the world to come eternal life.

Act 8:1 And Saul was consenting unto his death.
And at that time there was a great persecution
against the church which was at Jerusalem;
and they were all scattered abroad
throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria,
except the apostles.

in distresses for Christ’s sake:
for when I am weak, then am I strong.

why do I yet suffer persecution?
