I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “author”.

1Co 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion,
but of peace,
as in all churches of the saints.

Heb 5:9 And being made perfect,
he became the author of eternal salvation
unto all them that obey him;

Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;
who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame,
and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
