They are as stubble before the wind,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “stubble”.

Exodus 5:12 So the people were scattered abroad
throughout all the land of Egypt
to gather stubble instead of straw.

Exodus 15:7 And in the greatness of thine excellency
thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee:
thou sentest forth thy wrath,
which consumed them as stubble.

Job 13:25 Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro?
and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?

Job 21:18 They are as stubble before the wind,
and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.

Job 41:28 The arrow cannot make him flee:
slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
