I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “rotten…ness..”.

Job 13:28 And he, as a rotten thing,
consumeth,
as a garment that is moth eaten.

Job 41:27 He esteemeth iron as straw,
and brass as rotten wood.

Pro 12:4 A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband:
but she that maketh ashamed is
as rottenness in his bones.

Pro 14:30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh:
but envy the rottenness of the bones.

Isa 5:24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble,
