I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “witness” from the New Testament.

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power,
after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem,
and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:22 Beginning from the baptism of John,
unto that same day that he was taken up from us,
must one be ordained to be a witness
with us of his resurrection.

Acts 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up,
whereof we all are witnesses.

Acts 3:15 And killed the Prince of life,
whom God hath raised from the dead;
whereof we are witnesses.

Acts 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles
witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus:
and great grace was upon them all.

Acts 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things;
and so is also the Holy Ghost,
whom God hath given to them that obey him.

Acts 6:13 And set up false witnesses, which said,
This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words
against this holy place, and the law:

Romans 1:9 For God is my witness,

their conscience also bearing witness,
and their thoughts the mean while
accusing or else excusing one another;)

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God
without the law is manifested,
being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22. Even the righteousness of God
which is by faith of Jesus Christ
unto all and upon all them that believe:
for there is no difference:
23. For all have sinned,
and come short of the glory of God;
24. Being justified freely by his grace
through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25. Whom God hath set forth
to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,
to declare his righteousness
for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God;
26. To declare,  I say,
at this time his righteousness:
that he might be just,
and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit,
that we are the children of God:

Romans 9:1 I say the truth in Christ, I lie not,
my conscience also bearing me witness
in the Holy Ghost,

Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery,
Thou shalt not kill,
Thou shalt not steal,
Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Thou shalt not covet;
and if there be any other commandment,
it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

1 Corinthians 15:15 Yea, and we are found
false witnesses of God;
because we have testified of God
that he raised up Christ:
whom he raised not up,

among many witnesses,
the same commit thou to faithful men,
who shall be able to teach others also.

Titus 1:12 One of themselves,
even a prophet of their own, said,
The Cretians are alway liars,
evil beasts,
slow bellies.

Titus 1:13 This witness is true.
Wherefore rebuke them sharply,
that they may be sound in the faith;

14. Not giving heed to Jewish fables,
and commandments of men,
that turn from the truth.

Hebrews 2:4 God also bearing them witness,
both with signs and wonders,
and with divers miracles,
and gifts of the Holy Ghost,
according to his own will?

Hebrews 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes;
but there he receiveth them,
of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

Hebrews 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us:
for after that he had said before,

16. This is the covenant
that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord,
I will put my laws into their hearts,
and in their minds will I write them;
17. And their sins and iniquities

died without mercy

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ,
who is the faithful witness,
and the first begotten of the dead,
and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us,
and washed us
from our sins in his own blood,

Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church
of the Laodiceans write;
These things saith the Amen,
the faithful and true witness,
the beginning of the creation of God;

Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses,
and they shall prophesy
a thousand two hundred and threescore days,
clothed in sackcloth.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones,
and they sat upon them,
and judgment was given unto them:
and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded
for the witness of Jesus,
and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image,
neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands;
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
