I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “smooth…eth…”.

Genesis 27:11 And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold,
Esau my brother is a hairy man,
and I am a smooth man:

Genesis 27:16 And she put the skins of the kids
of the goats upon his hands,
and upon the smooth of his neck:

I Samuel 17:40 And he took his staff in his hand,
and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook,
and put them in a shepherd’s bag
which he had, even in a scrip;
and his sling was in his hand:
and he drew near to the Philistine.

Psalms 55:21 The words of his mouth
were smoother than butter,
but war was in his heart:
his words were softer than oil,
yet were they drawn swords.

Proverbs 5:3 For the lips of a strange woman
drop as an honeycomb,
