I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “subvert”.

Lamentations 3:36 To subvert a man in his cause,
the LORD approveth not.

Acts 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard,
that certain which went out from us
have troubled you with words,
subverting your souls, saying,
Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law:
to whom we gave no such commandment:

2 Timothy 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance,
charging them before the Lord that
they strive not about words to no profit,
but to the subverting of the hearers.
