I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “allow”.

Luke 11:48 Truly ye bear witness that
ye allow the deeds of your fathers:
for they indeed killed them,
and ye build their sepulchres.

Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God,
which they themselves also allow,
that there shall be a resurrection of the dead,
both of the just and unjust.

Romans 7:15 For that which I do I allow not:
for what I would,
that do I not;
but what I hate, that do I.
