I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “apostle”.

Matthew 10:2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these;
The first, Simon, who is called Peter,
and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee,
and John his brother;

3. Philip, and Bartholomew;
Thomas, and Matthew the publican;
James  the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus,
whose surname was Thaddaeus;

4. Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot,
who also betrayed him.

Mark 6:30 And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus,
and told him all things, both what they had done,
and what they had taught.

Luke 6:13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples:
and of them he chose twelve,
whom also he named apostles;

Luke 9:10 And the apostles, when they were returned,
told him all that they had done.
