I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “rich” from the Old Testament.

Genesis 13:2 And Abram was very rich
in cattle,
in silver,
and in gold.

Genesis 14:23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet,
and that I will not take any thing that is thine,
lest thou shouldest say,
I have made Abram rich:

Genesis 31:16 For all the riches
which God hath taken from our father, that is ours,
and our children’s: now then,
whatsoever God hath said unto thee, do.

Genesis 36:7 For their riches were more than
that they might dwell together;
and the land wherein they were strangers
could not bear them because of their cattle.

Exodus 30:15 The rich shall not give more,
and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel,
when they give an offering unto the LORD,
to make an atonement for your souls.
