I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “thirst”.
Exodus 17:3 And the people thirsted there for water;
and the people murmured against Moses, and said,
Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt,
to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
Deuteronomy 28:48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies
which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger,
and in thirst,
and in nakedness,
and in want of all things:
and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck,
until he have destroyed thee.
Deuteronomy 29:19 And it come to pass,
when he heareth the words of this curse,
that he bless himself in his heart, saying,
I shall have peace,
though I walk in the imagination of mine heart,
to add drunkenness to thirst:
Judges 4:19 And he said unto her, Give me, I pray thee,
