Why are thy valiant men swept away?
they stood not,
because the LORD did drive them.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “swept”.
Judges 5:21 The river of Kishon swept them away,
that ancient river, the river Kishon.
O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength.
Jeremiah 46:15 Why are thy valiant men swept away?
they stood not,
because the LORD did drive them.
Matthew 12:44 Then he saith, I will return into my house
from whence I came out;
and when he is come,
he findeth it empty,
swept, and garnished.
45. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself
seven other spirits more wicked than himself,
and they enter in and dwell there:
and the last state of that man
is worse than the first.
Even so shall it be also
unto this wicked generation.
Luke 11:25 And when he cometh,
he findeth it swept and garnished.
26. Then goeth he, and taketh to him
seven other spirits more wicked than himself;
and they enter in,
and dwell there:
and the last state of that man
is worse than the first
