And when the days of her purification
according to the law of Moses were accomplished,
they brought him to Jerusalem,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “purification”.

Numbers 19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer,
and lay them up without the camp in a clean place,
and it shall be kept for the congregation of
the children of Israel for a water of separation:
it is a purification for sin.

Numbers 19:17 And for an unclean person they shall
take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin,
and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

2 Chronicles 30:19 That prepareth his heart to seek God,
the LORD God of his fathers,
though he be not cleansed
according to the purification of the sanctuary.

Nehemiah 12:45 And both the singers and the porters
kept the ward of their God,
and the ward of the purification,
according to the commandment of David,
and of Solomon his son.

Esther 2:3 And let the king appoint officers
in all the provinces of his kingdom,
that they may gather together
all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace,
to the house of the women,
unto the custody of Hege the king’s chamberlain,
keeper of the women;
and let their things for purification be given them:

Esther 2:9 And the maiden pleased him,
and she obtained kindness of him;
and he speedily gave her her things for purification,
with such things as belonged to her,
and seven maidens,
which were meet to be given her, out of the king’s house:
and he preferred her and her maids
unto the best place of the house of the women.

Esther 2:12 Now when every maid’s turn was come to go in to king Ahasuerus,
after that she had been twelve months,
according to the manner of the women,
(for so were the days of their purifications accomplished,
to wit, six months with oil of myrrh,
and six months with sweet odours,
and with other things for the purifying of the women;)

Luke 2:22 And when the days of her purification
according to the law of Moses were accomplished,
they brought him to Jerusalem,
to present him to the Lord;

Acts 21:26 Then Paul took the men,
and the next day purifying himself
with them entered into the temple,
to signify the accomplishment of the days of purification,
until that an offering should be offered for every one of them.
