I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “hunger”.

Exodus 16:3 And the children of Israel said unto them,
Would to God we had died
by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt,
when we sat by the flesh pots,
and when we did eat bread to the full;
for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness,
to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled thee,
and suffered thee to hunger,
and fed thee with manna,
which thou knewest not,
neither did thy fathers know;
that he might make thee know
that man doth not live by bread only,
but by every word that proceedeth
out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

Deuteronomy 28:48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies
which the LORD shall send against thee,
in hunger,
and in thirst,
and in nakedness,
and in want of all things:
and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck,
until he have destroyed thee.
