Thine own friend,
and thy father’s friend, forsake not;
neither go into thy brother‘s house
in the day of thy calamity:
for better is a neighbour that is near

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Brother” from ‘Job’ till the ‘Prophets’ (KJV).

Job 1:13 And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were
eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother‘s house:

Job 1:18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said,
Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine
in their eldest brother‘s house:

Job 22:6 For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nought,
and stripped the naked of their clothing.

Job 30:29 I am a brother to dragons,
and a companion to owls.

Psa 35:14 I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother:
I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.

Psa 49:7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother,
nor give to God a ransom for him:

Psa 50:20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother;
thou slanderest thine own mother’s son.

Pro 17:17 A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity.

Pro 18:9 He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him

in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother,
and every man to his neighbour:
behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD,
to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine;
and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

Eze 18:18 As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed,
spoiled his brother by violence,
and did that which is not good among his people,
lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.

Eze 33:30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people
still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses,
and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying,
Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

Eze 38:21 And I will call for a sword against him

Mic 7:2 The good man is perished out of the earth:

they all lie in wait for blood;
they hunt every man his brother with a net.

Hag 2:22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms,
and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen;
and I will overthrow the chariots,
and those that ride in them;
and the horses and their riders shall come down,
every one by the sword of his brother.

by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
