For this is the love of God,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Love God / Love of God”.

Love God 

Rom-8:28 And we know that all things work together
for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to  his purpose.

1Co-8:3 But if any man love God,
the same is known of him.

1Jo-4:20 If a man say, I love God,
and hateth his brother, he is a liar:
for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen,
how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

1Jo-5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God,
and keep his commandments.

Love of God         

Luk-11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees!
for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs,
and pass over judgment and the love of God:
these ought ye to have done,
and not to leave the other undone.

Joh-5:42 But I know you,
that ye have not the love of God in you.

Rom-5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts
by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Rom-8:39 Nor height,
nor depth,
nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
