I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “world” from the ‘Job’ till ‘Ecclesiastes”.
Job 18:18 He shall be driven from light into darkness,
and chased out of the world.
Job 34:13 Who hath given him a charge over the earth?
or who hath disposed the whole world?
Job 37:12 And it is turned round about by his counsels:
that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them
upon the face of the world in the earth.
Psalms 9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness,
he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
Psalms 17:14 From men which are thy hand, O LORD,
from men of the world, which have their portion in this life,
and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure:
they are full of children,
and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
Psalms 18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen,
and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke,
O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
Psalms 19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth,
and their words to the end of the world.
In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Psalms 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD:
and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
Psalms 24:1 The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein.
Psalms 33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD:
let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Psalms 49:1 Hear this, all ye people;
give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
Psalms 50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee:
for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
Psalms 73:12 Behold, these are the ungodly,
who prosper in the world;
they increase in riches.
Psalms 77:18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven:
the lightnings lightened the world:
the earth trembled and shook.
Psalms 89:11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine:
as for the world and the fulness thereof,
thou hast founded them.
Psalms 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Psalms 93:1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty;
the LORD is clothed with strength,
wherewith he hath girded himself:
the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
Psalms 96:10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth:
the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved:
he shall judge the people righteously.
Psalms 96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh,
for he cometh to judge the earth:
he shall judge the world with righteousness,
and the people with his truth.
Psalms 97:4 His lightnings enlightened the world:
the earth saw, and trembled.
Psalms 98:7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein.
Psalms 98:9 Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth:
with righteousness shall he judge the world,
and the people with equity.
Proverbs 8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth,
nor the fields,
nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:
also he hath set the world in their heart,
so that no man can find out the work
that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
