I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “rejoice…d…th…” from the Prophets of Old Testament.

Isaiah 5:14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself,
and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory,
and their multitude,
and their pomp,
and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

Isaiah 8:6 Forasmuch as this people refuseth the waters of Shiloah that go softly,
and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah’s son;

Isaiah 9:3 Thou hast multiplied the nation,
and not increased the joy:
they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest,
and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

Isaiah 13:3 I have commanded my sanctified ones,
I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger,
