I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “power” mentioned in the ‘Gospels’.

Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power,
and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew 9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins,
(then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed,
and go unto thine house.

Matthew 9:8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled,
and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.

Matthew 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples,
he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out,
