I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of Elias in the New Testament.

Matthew 11:14 And if ye will receive it, this is Elias,
which was for to come.

Matthew 16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist:
some, Elias;
and others, Jeremias,
or one of the prophets.

Matthew 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them
Moses and Elias talking with him.

Matthew 17:4 Then answered Peter,
and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here:
if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles;
one for thee,
and one for Moses,
and one for Elias.

Matthew 17:10 And his disciples asked him, saying,
Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

Matthew 17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Elias truly shall first come,
and restore all things.

Matthew 17:12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already,
and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed.
Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Matthew 27:47 Some of them that stood there,
when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.

Matthew 27:49 The rest said, Let be, let us see
whether Elias will come to save him.

Mark 6:15 Others said, That it is Elias.
And others said, That it is a prophet,
or as one of the prophets.

Mark 8:28 And they answered, John the Baptist:
but some say, Elias;
and others, One of the prophets.

Mark 9:4 And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses:
and they were talking with Jesus.

Mark 9:5 And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here:
and let us make three tabernacles;
one for thee,
and one for Moses,
and one for Elias.

Mark 9:11 And they asked him, saying,
Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?

Mark 9:12 And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first,
and restoreth all things;
and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things,
and be set at nought.

Mark 9:13 But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come,
and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

Mark 15:35 And some of them that stood by,
when they heard it, said, Behold, he calleth Elias.

Mark 15:36 And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar,
and put it on a reed,
and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone;
let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.

Luke 1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias,
to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,
and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just;
to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Luke 4:25 But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias,
when the heaven was shut up three years and six months,
when great famine was throughout all the land;

Luke 4:26 But unto none of them was Elias sent,
save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon,
unto a woman that was a widow.

Luke 9:8 And of some, that Elias had appeared;
and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.

Luke 9:19 They answering said, John the Baptist;
but some say, Elias;

and others say, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

Luke 9:30 And, behold, there talked with him two men,
which were Moses and Elias:

Luke 9:33 And it came to pass, as they departed from him,
Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here:
and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee,
and one for Moses,
and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

Luke 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord,
wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven,
and consume them, even as Elias did?

John 1:21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias?
And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet?
And he answered, No.

John 1:25 And they asked him,
and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then,
if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?

Romans 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew.
Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias?
how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are,
and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain:
and it rained not on the earth
by the space of three years and six months.

About David Mathi Raj Samuel
I was engaged in the computer field since 1977, particularly in Documentation, Desktop Publishing & Training field since 1986. The design work provided me creative satisfaction and motivated me to look for more challenging activities. I was having a taste for Technical Writing. Presently, My SME (Subject-Matter Expert) is "The Holy Bible (KJV)" and publishing the "Subject" from the Holy Bible only. I am 69 years old now and in HIS mercy. 2022, I was admitted in the hospital due to nervous attack and bed-ridden. In the Hospital they did all the tests and gave up and said it can't be cured. Due to circumstances I was in a Home for Elders in Gurugram, India for 18 months with a 24X7 attendent. I prayed to God YeHoVaH to give me death or life to live to HIS glory. My prayers were heard, I was given life. I came out walking from the Home and witnessing the work of God every day. I am able to move alone now, Weakness and the pain in the body remains. From June 2024 onwards I returned to my routine and reading Holy Bible, Preparing daily Bible understanding , as I did earlier but with two fingers in Android and Notebook. Watering the plants, making kitchen compost, repotting the plants with fertilizer, manures, cow dung; bathing and dressing myself but buttoning is not possible. Pray for everyone that lives in my physical condition to be strengthened. YeHoVaH be pleased.
