I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “treasure(s)…st…” from the New Testament (KJV).
Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house,
they saw the young child with Mary his mother,
and fell down,
and worshipped him:
and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold,
and frankincense,
and myrrh.
Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,
where moth and rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves break through and steal:
Matthew 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt,
and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Matthew 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things:
and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Matthew 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field;
the which when a man hath found, he hideth,
and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath,
and buyeth that field.
Matthew 13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed
unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder,
which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect,
go and sell that thou hast,
and give to the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come and follow me.
Mark 10:21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him,
and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way,
sell whatsoever thou hast,
and give to the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come, take up the cross,
and follow me.
Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is good;
and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart
bringeth forth that which is evil:
for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
Luke 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself,
and is not rich toward God.
Luke 12:33 Sell that ye have, and give alms;
provide yourselves bags which wax not old,
a treasure in the heavens that faileth not,
where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is,
there will your heart be also.
Luke 18:22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him,
Yet lackest thou one thing:
sell all that thou hast,
and distribute unto the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come, follow me.
Acts 8:27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia,
an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians,
who had the charge of all her treasure,
and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,
Romans 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself
wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels,
that the excellency of the power may be of God,
and not of us.
Colossians 2:3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Hebrews 11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt:
for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
James 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered;
and the rust of them shall be a witness against you,
and shall eat your flesh as it were fire.
Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
