our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side;
without were fightings, within were fears.

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee:
for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us,
when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

Hebrews 3:11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

but to them that believed not?

any of you should seem to come short of it.

Hebrews 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest,
as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath,
if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished
from the foundation of the world.

Hebrews 4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise,
And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

Hebrews 4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

Hebrews 4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest,
then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

Hebrews 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

Hebrews 4:10 For he that is entered into his rest,
he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Hebrews 4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest,
lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

1 Peter 4:2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men,
but to the will of God.

1 Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ,
happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:
on their part he is evil spoken of,
but on your part he is glorified.

Revelation 2:24 But unto you I say,
and unto the rest in Thyatira,
as many as have not this doctrine,
and which have not known the depths of Satan,
as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him;
and they were full of eyes within:
and they rest not day and night,
saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty,
which was,
and is,
and is to come.

Revelation 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them;
and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season,
until their fellowservants also and their brethren,
that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed
by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands,
that they should not worship devils,
and idols of gold,
and silver,
and brass,
and stone,
and of wood: which neither can see,
nor hear,
nor walk:

Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:
and they have no rest day nor night,
who worship the beast and his image,
and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours;
and their works do follow them.

Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again
until the thousand years were finished.
This is the first resurrection.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of prophets” from the New Testament (KJV).

Matthew 2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth:
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets,
He shall be called a Nazarene.

Matthew 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad:
for great is your reward in heaven:
for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you,
do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

which come to you in sheep’s clothing,
but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see,

and have not heard them.

we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

Matthew 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves,
that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

Matthew 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets,
and wise men, and scribes:
and some of them ye shall kill and crucify;
and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues,
and persecute them from city to city:

Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets,
and stonest them which are sent unto thee,
how often would I have gathered thy children together,
even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise,
and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders;
