I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “craft…..”
Deuteronomy 27:15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image,
an abomination unto the LORD,
the work of the hands of the craftsman,
and putteth it in a secret place.
And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
2 Kings 24:14 And he carried away all Jerusalem,
and all the princes,
and all the mighty men of valour,
even ten thousand captives,
and all the craftsmen and smiths:
none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
2 Kings 24:16 And all the men of might, even seven thousand,
and craftsmen and smiths a thousand,
all that were strong and apt for war,
even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
1 Chronicles 4:14 And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab,
the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen.
Nehemiah 11:35 Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
Job 5:12 He disappointeth the devices of the crafty,
so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.
Job 5:13 He taketh the wise in their own craftiness:
and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.
Job 15:5 For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity,
and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.
Psalms 83:3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people,
and consulted against thy hidden ones.
Daniel 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand;
and he shall magnify himself in his heart,
and by peace shall destroy many:
he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes;
but he shall be broken without hand.
Hosea 13:2 And now they sin more and more,
and have made them molten images of their silver,
and idols according to their own understanding,
all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them,
Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.
Mark 14:1 After two days was the feast of the passover,
and of unleavened bread:
and the chief priests and the scribes sought
how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.
Luke 20:23 But he perceived their craftiness,
and said unto them, Why tempt ye me?
Acts 18:3 And because he was of the same craft,
he abode with them, and wrought:
for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
Acts 19:24 For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith,
which made silver shrines for Diana, brought no small gain unto the craftsmen;
Acts 19:25 Whom he called together with the workmen of like occupation,
and said, Sirs, ye know that by this craft we have our wealth.
Acts 19:27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought;
but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised,
and her magnificence should be destroyed,
whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
Acts 19:38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him,
have a matter against any man, the law is open, and there are deputies:
let them implead one another.
1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God.
For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
2 Corinthians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
not walking in craftiness,
nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves
to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
2 Corinthians 12:16 But be it so, I did not burden you:
nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine,
by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Revelation 18:22 And the voice of harpers,
and musicians,
and of pipers,
and trumpeters,
shall be heard no more at all in thee;
and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be,
shall be found any more in thee;
and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
