I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “sentence” mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV).
Deuteronomy 17:9 And thou shalt come unto the priests the Levites,
and unto the judge that shall be in those days, and enquire;
and they shall shew thee the sentence of judgment:
Deuteronomy 17:10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence,
which they of that place which the LORD shall choose shall shew thee;
and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee:
Deuteronomy 17:11 According to the sentence of the law
which they shall teach thee,
and according to the judgment
which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do:
thou shalt not decline from the sentence
which they shall shew thee,
to the right hand, nor to the left.
Psalms 17:2 Let my sentence come forth from thy presence;
let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.
Proverbs 16:10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king:
his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily,
therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
Jeremiah 4:12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me:
now also will I give sentence against them.
Daniel 5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge,
and understanding, interpreting of dreams,
and shewing of hard sentences,
and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel,
whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called,
and he will shew the interpretation.
Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom,
when the transgressors are come to the full,
a king of fierce countenance,
and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
Luke 23:24 And Pilate gave sentence
that it should be as they required.
Acts 15:19 Wherefore my sentence is,
that we trouble not them,
which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
2 Corinthians 1:9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves,
that we should not trust in ourselves,
but in God which raiseth the dead:
