And they were filled with madness;

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “madness”.

Deuteronomy 28:28   The LORD shall smite thee with madness,
and blindness,
and astonishment of heart:

Ecclesiastes 1:17   And I gave my heart to know wisdom,
and to know madness and folly:
I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.

Ecclesiastes 2:12   And I turned myself to behold wisdom,
and madness,
and folly:
for what can the man do that cometh after the king?
even that which hath been already done.

Ecclesiastes 7:25   I applied mine heart to know,
and to search,
and to seek out wisdom,
and the reason of things,
and to know the wickedness of folly,
even of foolishness and madness:

Ecclesiastes 9:3   This is an evil among all things
that are done under the sun,
that there is one event unto all: yea,
also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil,
and madness is in their heart while they live,
and after that they go to the dead.

Ecclesiastes 10:13   The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness:
and the end of his talk is mischievous madness.

Zechariah 12:4   In that day, saith the LORD,
I will smite every horse with astonishment,
and his rider with madness:
and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah,
and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
